Slip slidin' away

After the great time we had yesterday we needed to do something else kinda crazy to get people like us having fun, so we picked up some slip-n-slides on the way to the beach. We poured a Cheerwine in one of them and even got a few people to slide right into a pool of it and some water. Here's some of our sliders.

Who are those last two guys anyway?

After we manned the slides for a while(and cleaned the sand off of us by taking an extended swim in the ocean) we started combing the beach and meeting people. We could barely keep our coolers stocked we were givin it out so fast. It's so easy to meet peopel when your giving out free stuff.

We be out tomorrow again in the area. Maybe be looking for us early afternoon because its Saturday night and Sunday mornilng comes early. Keep zaggin'.

Money Cup

Simple words to describe today were crazy, strange, exciting and hilarious. We started our adventure in the heart of the city, where we knew we'd find the craziest and most fun people, the strip at Myrtle Beach. We quickly realized that everyone around us was our age and everyone was having a good time. To continue those good times we set up our table and had a little game of "Cheer-Pong". (Cheer-pong is a simple game of tossing a ping-pong ball in the other teams cup. If you make it the other team has to drink their cheerwine, first team to loose all their cups looses.)

Above: Some young ladies decided to take a break from the heat and enjoy a cold cheerwine,

Below: A first time Cheerwine drinker enjoys his drink and a game too.

All day was a party on the beach, people were flooding us, hanging out to chill, and just having a good time. Like always we had many request for Cheerwine in states far away, and to those people, we're coming.

Above: Some crazy guys found our stand and played in a few games of Cheer-Pong, they were from the ATL, and after tasting it demanded its presence.

Above: Me and some awesome ladies from OHIO, and thats ME, Zach, so everyone knows.

Many cool people roamed the beach today, everyone we talked to were friendly, everyone was down to earth, and everyone was definitely having a good time. But hey isn't that was summer is about? That's why we do this and that's why each day is such a success because of the great fans we have. So till tomorrow, LOOK for us at a familiar spot. Remember too that if your photo makes our blog then let us known and we'll hook ya up with a prize. I leave you with some happy cheerwine friends.

"Pawley" want a cracker

Today we hit the road for a long drive to Pawley's Island. There wasn't a sign but we managed to stumble across it after a while on Highway 17. I think it must be a vacationer's beach because we met a lot of people that were from out of town. We're gonna be giving out t-shirts to the people that get on the blog. If you see your picture up here just email us with your address and we'll get it to you. Here's the lucky winners of the day.

Your hint for tomorrow is that we'll be "barefootin" around "broadway."

Hello Fadda

Sunday was Father's Day and we knew we wouldn't probably find too many people out, but nevertheless we hit the road anyway. In the morning we spent a little time around Davidson College. We met some people from Virginia walking through the campus that had never tried Cheerwine before. They wanted our "why zig?" shirts really badly but luckily, we resisted. Can't give out Cheerwine without a shirt, it's the law.

After we were on campus for a bit we hit up some boat landings around Lake Norman. We tried to get on the Catawba Queen, but as you can see in the picture, they do not allow food or beverage, foolish if you ask me.

Unphased, we went to see what we could find in Mooresville. Our answer: Racing!.

We spent some time in Mooresville but couldnt find the elusive statue of Dale Earnhardt that I know is somewhere around there. Really wanted that picture. Anyway we started to look for parks along the way home where people might be having a Father's Day picnic. We found just that at Sloan Park where we also visited a museum inside a mill.

We went to some other parks around Salisbury before turning in. Check for us in the general vicinity of where we were during our first week out. That's where we're gonna be next. Zach will be riding with me next week, but Steve will be in the area gettin his grill on!

Goodnight and Goodluck

Yesterday was another day in Charlotte for the R.A.O.S. team. If you were looking for "freedom" after Sam's hint, than you might not have found us. Our plan was to spend most of the day at Freedom Park but unfortunately one of the park's officers found us out in about 10 minutes and gave us the boot. Apparently, he wasn't someone who could be easily persuaded with some Cheerwine. We did get a couple good shots at the park and saw some pretty cool things, like a lady with her dog who told us that he was ranked 8th in the world in frisbee competition.

During our lunch break, we went to a sports bar called Picasso's to catch the end of the U.S. soccer match. It was a pretty cool place and everyone was real intense because of the game so we thought about doing a little sampling there. We offered the manager a free case if she allowed us to give some out inside and if she'd make a drink special with Cheerwine. She was all for it. My favorite part of the whole thing was that once we started handing out cold CW inside, someone came up to me and asked if we had been in Greenville last week. I was just pretty psyched to hear that we'd been spotted by someone two weeks in a row in two different states.

And now for the bad news. After our day in Lake Norman on Sunday, my run with the R.A.O.S. team will come to an end. I'm still working for the company next week in Myrtle Beach for the "Thriller on the Griller" events but this will unfortunately be my last blog. I know, I know, how could this happen right? But it's ok. Zach, who will be the new member to work with Sam is a great guy and you'll like him a lot. He's always got a lot of creative ideas so I'm sure the team will find a lot of new and fun things to do to finish out the summer. Anyways, goodbye to all you great fans out there who have kept my job fun, always making me want to check out our site to see who said what to us, and goodluck to Sam and Zach. I'll keep up with these guys from home back in New York and make sure to post some comments so I don't lose touch. Keep Zaggin'

Steve

P.S. We did it again, another perfect pump. $75 even
